Randall Bennett

Founder and Executive Director

Randall Bennett is the Founder and Executive Director of Second Act Scene 2. He has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist as well as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. He is a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and he has been working as a clinical therapist for 30 years. He loves working with families, couples and individuals as they navigate the challenges they encounter on their journey in life.

Second Act Scene 2 was founded on the belief that healing and counseling services should be available to all. This nonprofit stands in the gap and provides services to the underinsured or noninsured who actively want to improve their lives through counseling. We offer a much needed resource to those living in the Fox Valley area in Illinois.

Randy has authored several books including Melt Your Man’s Heart. As a Facilitator for the PREPARE/ENRICH Program, he has traveled  to Europe, Africa and South America, speaking and presenting workshops on relational issues.

Randy has been married to his wife Amy for 28 years and together they have three adult children. He enjoys traveling, and is an avid skier in the winter and a bicyclist in the summer months.
